Free time: Plenty of things to do. Shop downtown Dayton, venture to Ski Bluewood, fish in the nearby Touchet River, games (perhaps some of the cousins will come up with outdoor games and horseshoes), drink beer, gossip, share memories and family albums.
Fairchild Family Silent Auction Fund Raiser: Don’t forget to bring your money to buy tickets and of course, something to donate. Need ideas to donate? Wine and beer has always been popular. Gourmet goodies (jellies, candies, etc) from your state, white elephants, handcrafted items, family photos, etc. Proceeds go to reunion fund.

Pack up, give hugs and kisses to everyone and farewell! See you again in three years!
Tents, campers, trailers are encouraged. Lodging is available in Dayton if room service is more your style. Also in Dayton is a convenient grocery store, as well as other markets. Check out: http://www.historicdayton.com/ for more information on rooms. There is to be a new motel built on Main and suppose to be opened by the reunion.
For campers, porta-potties will be available. We are also working on outdoor showers for camper’s convenience as not to overuse the Fairchild main house. Anybody that has an outdoor shower to use for the weekend, let us know. So don’t forget to pack your towels!
